Lubos Alyansa ng mga Katutubong Ayta ng Sambales (LAKAS.PH) — When I opened my email today, I received a notification from http://cpcabrisbane.org/ regarding a highly regarded person Sr. Menggay, who sadly passed away on 3rd of August 2010. Sr. Balazo was born 71 years ago in Misamis Occidental and was buried on August 5 ( I think) at least hte mass was on that day. The funeral mass was held at the convent chapel of the Franciscan Missionaires of Mary in Carmona, Cavite.
There are various articles written by Ma. Ceres P. Doyo, Christopher Domulot who wrote, how they met, insights and personal experiences. Ma. Ceres P. doyo wrote on his article who they first met and became involved. Chris, recounts his experiences with sr. Menggay as a young child to an insight of a state of awakening for his tribe through education, leadership and engaging communities within his own, outside and overseas.
